Trafalgar PAC's 28th Annual Multicultural Dinner on Friday, May 10th 2024

Save the Date!

Step into a world of culinary diversity with our Multicultural potluck dinner event, where flavors from every corner of the globe converge to create an unforgettable experience for our Trafalgar School Community. The evening will be filled with lots of great food, activities and a raffle draw of 20 unique Fantasy Baskets created by each Division in our school. This is our 28th year together showcasing the richness of different cultures, traditions, and cuisines, uniting our Trafalgar school community through their shared love for exquisite flavors and culinary exploration.
  
When: Friday, May 10th 2024
  
What time: 5:30 -8:30 pm doors open at 5:30pm and dinner starts at 6:00pm
  
Location: Trafalgar’s Gym, seating available inside and outside (weather permitting)
  
Ticket price: $5.00 per person, $15.00 for a family of 4+ (children not of school age are free of charge)
  
What is included: Cost covers dessert, popcorn and water
What do you bring: As this is a potluck event, we would like to encourage each family to bring one delicious NUT- FREE dish sufficient for 12 people to sample, along with serving utensils.
  
 ●      Label your dish with ingredients in case of allergies
 ●      Please put your name on your plates/containers and serving utensils as you will pick them up afterwards
 ●      Bring plates, cutlery, and cups for your family
  
Fantasy Baskets: Each division will donate a fantasy gift basket for the raffle. To view the 20 incredible Fantasy Baskets, students can visit the school library where they will be on display from Monday, May 6th 2024.
  
Traditional Costume Parade: Put on your favorite traditional attire and join the parade that showcases a kaleidoscope of attire that reflects the unique identity of each culture.
  
Raffle Tickets: Tickets for the basket raffle will be $1.00 each, 6 for $5.00 or 30 for $20.
  
Admission and raffle tickets online sale will start on April 23rd on the PAC website https://trafalgarpac.ca/dinner/ Tickets will also be available at the door during the event. We will accept cash and credit/debit card payments.
  
PLEASE NOTE that according to the  2024 BC Licensed Charitable Gaming Rules  (Section 11.8) “Ticket buyers must be present to claim their prize”. Gaming Event License #149935

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
We are very happy to bring the Trafalgar community together, taste world cuisine and learn about different countries and cultures.
  
But we need YOU to make it happen! To make this night special we need volunteers before, during and after the event. You can be the fantasy baskets guard, activity room guide, selling tickets, preparing popcorn, setting up the event or helping us clean up.
  
Signing up does NOT mean that you will not be able to enjoy the event as there will be runners to give you a break and enjoy yourself.
