Parent Advisory Council

PAC stands for Parent Advisory Council.

The PAC is a parent committee to which all parents automatically belong as members of the Tyee Elementary school community. The PAC is led by elected volunteers (the PAC Executive) who coordinate monthly meetings and provide leadership.

Meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7pm via zoom. Meetings are a great opportunity for Tyee families to hear updates about what is happening at the school, express their views or concerns, and provide input to PAC events and fundraising. Participating in meetings, volunteering for the Executive, or serving on one of the many sub-committees offers families a more in-depth school experience.

Along with student and administrative bodies, parental assistance and input are valuable in ensuring that our children receive a good quality education and a positive school experience.
