Sir James Douglas School offers programs for students from Kindergarten to Grade 7 in English and for French Immersion students in Grades 4 through 7. Most of our French Immersion students complete the early French Immersion program which is offered at Sir James Douglas Annex starting in Kindergarten.

Extra support is provided for students who are English language learners and students with special educational needs.

There is a District Band Program taught by a Music Teacher twice a week in the morning for intermediate students who are interested in learning how to play a band instrument. This program is very popular with our students. Students either Our Band students generally purchase or rent their instruments.
