VSB Career Programs Info Night - John Oliver Secondary Auditorium on Oct 28th at 6:30PM
Have you been thinking about making Career Programs part of your graduation pathway? On October 28th, VSB Career Programs is hosting an Info Night for students and families looking for more information about ideas about the programs and pathways available in the skilled trades, health care, design, early childhood education, and technology sectors.
Why is this event important? These programs are a headstart on a career. Depending on the program, students earn high school credits, post-secondary credits, hours towards certification, and/or a paycheque! The school district funds the tuition for these programs for students whose training or dual credit applications are accepted.

Auditorium Doors will open at 6pm
Location: John Oliver Secondary School at 530 E 41st Avenue
Who should attend? This event is especially important for students in grades 10 and 11 and their caregivers. Grade 12 students interested in apprenticeship may also find helpful information at this event.

Please note that these programs are available to students who hold Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status. Attendance is a consideration during the application and interview process. VSB Career Programs is not responsible for securing employment for students but, in some cases, supports students by introducing them to employers.
