Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. Early Childhood Educator

The Vancouver School Board partners with Langara College to offer one term of the Early Childhood Educator program.

Program Details

This program is taught at Langara College campus in Vancouver.

This career path involves working with young children from birth to age five. Early Childhood Educators design and deliver educational programs to support children’s learning and growth.

Please note that students must be in grades 10 or 11 to apply for Dual Credit programs.

Certification and Further Study

Upon successful completion of the program, students meet provincial requirements for certification as an ECE Assistant in licensed child care centres in British Columbia. This program ladders to further studies in diploma and degree programs.
