Earlier this school year, Science World donated two Tech Up kits to Fleming School. Included in the kits were games, books and robots to introduce coding and computational thinking to students. On Family Day, several students from Fleming School were invited to Science World's Tech Up Showcase to demonstrate what they learned. Fleming hosted a table exhibiting two board games, the Code & Go Robot Mouse and Forbidden Island. These games help students develop logical reasoning and computational thinking. Tegan, Brendan, Jibraan, Jason and Johnny, spent the morning sharing and playing with the many people visiting Science World. It was a great opportunity for Fleming to showcase just one of the amazing things happening in our school.
