READ-A-THON: Our Van Horne Read-a-Thon 2026 starts on Sunday, Feb. 1st!!! Read-a-Thon packages are going home this week. Please check your child's library book bag. It's time to set a reading goal and begin tracking their daily reading. Thank you for your support and happy reading!!!                                             

NOISY READING: Noisy Reading takes place every Thursday mornings in the Library 8:30am. Explore our picture book collection, find a cozy spot, and enjoy reading together with your child. Whether you're whisper-reading, laughing together, or talking about the pictures, this is wonderful opportunity to build a love of books. Everyone is welcome, we hope to see you there!

WORLD READ ALOUD DAY: Next week! Feb. 3-5th In the library this week we are celebrating World Read Aloud Day. All classes are connecting with an author or illustrator during their library blocks. Grade 6s will be meeting with Stephen Lytton, author of Legends of Lytton and Finn the Fishboy.
