We encourage students to walk, ride, or wheel to school whenever possible. Walking to school supports healthy habits, helps build independence, and contributes to a safer school environment for everyone. 

If you need to drive your child to school, we ask that you help us maintain a safe and respectful environment by following these simple guidelines:

• Pull over safely to the curb and use your signal when stopping.
• Keep drop-offs brief so other families can access available curb space.
• If curbside space is unavailable, please park on a nearby street and walk your child to school.
• Consider arriving a few minutes before the bell to allow for a calm start to the day.
• Do not block driveways, crosswalks, lanes, or accessible parking spaces.
• Please do not use staff parking areas unless authorized to do so.
• Be patient and courteous with other drivers, students, and pedestrians. 

Whenever possible, please walk with your child to and from school. A short walk is a wonderful opportunity to connect, enjoy some fresh air, and support a safe school community.
