The primary classes at Trudeau elementary participated in the Chocolate Lily Book awards program this year in the library!

 

This book award program celebrates BC's best books for children and supports local BC authors, while exposing students to a variety of stories.

The students at Trudeau voted for their favourite and they chose "The House at the End of the Road" by Kari Rust as the winner.   

 

However, after all of the schools in BC participating voted, the actual winner of the 19th Annual Chocolate Lily Awards 2021 in the Picture Book Category was Princess Puffybottom and Darryl by Susan Nielsen.
