For the 25th year, Streetfront had the largest cohort of high school marathoners in the world, run the BMO Full and Half Marathon.  This is a tremendous feat and one that we are so proud of.  In a beautiful example of the commitment and dedication of the Britannia Secondary staff - we saw 5 staff members come out and run alongside the kids.  Huge thanks to Ms. Simonson, Mr. Crawford, Mr. Cole, Ms. Lafleur and Ms. Nobbs-Thiessen who were incredible supports to our students.  

 We will finish off our running calendar by running the Vancouver Half on June 22nd.  

 The day after the marathon the halls of Britannia were filled with kids awkwardly trying to climb stairs and walk without wincing - they were bruised and battered but you’d be hard pressed to find a group that was filled with more pride.
