Intramurals

SPRING 2016

The league organizers introduced a new league format that was used to create more evenly matched and competitive teams for this spring season. The spring season consisted of six teams. The regular season was very competitive with many close-scoring games. Team #5 came out on top during the regular season with a 5-0 record. The same Team #5 played against Team #6 in the final and Team #5 won 55-48 in a fun and exciting match-up. Congratulations to Max Haronga, Arushan Varatharajah, Andrew Yang, Kyle Cheung and Cameron Hong Tai. These players from Team #5 will be receiving their championship intramural shirts in the fall of 2016. Congratulations to all teams that participated. We're looking forward to an even higher level of participation in the upcoming fall intramural basketball season.

FALL 2015

The team consisting of Max Haronga, Alex Savanovic, Adam Johnston, Justin Lee, Leo Hung won the fall intramural basketball championship handily. All five received championship shirts. Congratulations.

SPRING 2015

The spring season comprised of six teams and started league play on April 10th to May 13th, in a single round-robin format.   The games were played at lunchtime from 11:45 to 12:15 and good participation was shown by all teams and spectators.  The First Official Ballers finished 5-0 in the regular season to place in first place.   The championship final was played on May 13th and the First Official Ballers Squad defeated the If You’re Playing Us It’s Too Late 77-27 to win the Spring 2015 Intramural Championship.

 FALL 2014

The season comprised of seven teams and started Oct. 10th to Nov. 30th in a single round-robin format.  The games were played at lunchtime from 11:45 to 12:15.  Good participation was shown by the teams and the games were fun to watch as a whole.  The Grade 11 Elites finished 6-0 in the regular season and in first place.  The championship final was played Nov. 20th and the M & J Squad defeated the Grade 11 Elites 58-55 to win the Fall 2014 Intramural Championship.
