Sir James Douglas School offers Early French Immersion for students in Grades 4–7 who have previously attended an Early French Immersion program. Most of our Early French Immersion students complete Kindergarten to Grade 3 at Sir James Douglas Annex before transferring to our school in Grade 4 to continue their French studies.

We also offer Late French Immersion for students in Grades 6 and 7, with entry beginning in Grade 6.

Successful completion of our French Immersion program provides students with the opportunity to continue French Immersion studies in secondary school.
