New Student Orientation

Student Forms:

-There are 6 different consent forms that need to be filled out at the beginning of the year. You can Access these forms here: https://myforms.vsb.bc.ca/

- Also, please ask for a yellow student reunification form at the Office.  This form needs to be completed and returned to the Office.

Access to MyEd BC:

· MyEdBC is used to see report cards, schedule, attendance, etc.

· Parents and students share Login information.  

MyEdBC website: www.myeducation.gov.bc.ca


Access to Office 365:

· Access to different online platforms, like Outlook and Teams where students can receive messages from the school and communicate with their teachers. · www.office.com (Login: student number @learn.vsb.bc.ca. For password, see below)

· You can get your password at: studentpass.vsb.bc.ca (you will need your PEN found on your report card).

· This login can also be used to access the school’s Wi-Fi (VSB secured).

Login ID: Student Number@learn.vsb.bc.ca  Password: (parents and students must share this password)

School Fees:

· You’ll need to create a School Cash Online account: https://vsb.schoolcashonline.com/

· Click on “Register” and follow the steps.

Lunch Program: 

If you are interested in participating, please ask your counsellor or pick up a lunch form at the Office. The form needs to be signed by a Parent or Guardian and returned. When returning the signed form to the Office, you will be given a digital lunch card number which you can set up after downloading the VSB LunchSmart App.  A monthly fee can be paid online. .


2025-2026 School Schedule:

Please refer to pages 6-7 of the Student agenda and the school website for important dates.

· Students have 8 subjects during the school year. There are 4 subjects (every day) in semester 1 and 4 subjects in semester 2.

· FIT Time means: Flexible Instructional Time. This is independent study time, where you can approach teachers with questions, or you can study or do homework.

· Bell Schedule/FIT time/Collaborative Days/ProD Days can be found in the school agenda.
