The Class of 1985 was a diverse, academically and athletically strong class. They cared about each other, the world around them and how their actions affected our natural environment. The Class of 85 Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 and will be used to fund scholarship awards for graduating students of Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School.

The recipient of the Class of 85 Scholarship shows:

• diversity in their interests and in accepting others, demonstrated through their extra curricular activities

• academic strength by maintaining a minimum B average in their grade 12 year

• athletic strength in their participation in at least one sport

• an appreciation for our world, demonstrated through meaningful community involvement or engagement

• preference will be given towards students who demonstrate financial need
