Each Graduate is responsible for drafting a SHORT message that will be read as they cross the stage. Some examples of what you may want to include are:

* What you will fondly remember

* your future plans

* regards to people you may wish to thank

* a reflective statement of some kind

Remember that this will be read by a teacher/administrator so it must be written in the third person (e.g. “Emily is excited to be taking a year in the fall and traveling around the world. She will miss her friends and family in Vancouver”) Your message must be appropriate for a formal occasion, and it must be 30-50 words long maximum and be submitted electronically. Please watch for the Survey/Form link on the Grade 12 Teams on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, to enter your Graduation Citation Message.  The Citations are due on Friday May 5, 2023.

All students participating in the UHill Graduation Ceremony must wear a gown, grad cap/tassel and a sash. Gowns are ordered by height measurement and the purchase of these grad items are included in the Graduation Fees. Each student's Grad Gown Order Form was distributed to them on March 6 and the completed form is due back to the office on Monday, April 3, 2023.   The graduation packages will be distributed after the Grade 12 Assembly and students will be keeping their gown, sash and caps as keepsakes of their graduation ceremony.

 The Grade 12 Assembly will be on Friday, June 2 at 1:45 pm.   Students MUST attend this very important assembly as we will be confirming names and other details to ensure our rehearsal on Wednesday, June 7 runs smoothly.
