Welcome to Templeton Grade 8 Field Trip to Grouse Mountain

All Grade 8 students are invited to attend our Welcome to Templeton Field Trip to Grouse Mountain on Thursday, September 17.

This will be Templeton's third annual Welcome to Templeton trip to Grouse Mountain. Over the past two years, nearly every Grade 8 student attended, making it a wonderful opportunity to meet new classmates and staff, build connections, and start the school year with a memorable shared experience.

On Thursday, September 17, students meet in the Small Gym at 8:00 a.m. for attendance and pre-trip announcements. School buses will depart at 8:30 a.m. and return to Templeton between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The cost of the trip is $54, which includes:

• Round-trip transportation by school bus
• Gondola rides up and down Grouse Mountain
• Grouse Mountain staff-led activities and a First Nations culture presentation

Permission forms will be distributed to students on the first day of school. Copies of the form are also available in the Learning Hub (Room 202), and a downloadable version will be posted on this webpage. Completed forms and payment must be submitted to Room 202 by September 14.

There will be two information meetings for students: one on the first day of school and a second meeting a few days before the trip. Students are encouraged to stop by the Learning Hub and speak with Ms. Bell-Irving if they have any questions about the trip.

Please note that submission of a permission form indicates a commitment to attend the trip. Students who submit forms but do not attend will still be responsible for the full cost of the trip. No refunds will be issued.
