Feb 1 marks the beginning of Black History Month / Mois de l’histoire des Noirs: Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the United States, where it is also known as African-American History Month. It has received official recognition from governments in the United States and Canada

 Feb 1 – 7 is World Interfaith Harmony Week: The World Interfaith Harmony Week provides a platform—one week in a year—when all interfaith groups and other groups of goodwill can show the world what a powerful movement they are.

Feb 2 is World Wetlands Day: A call to take action for wetlands is the focus of this years’ campaign. It's an appeal to invest financial, human and political capital to save the world’s wetlands from disappearing and to restore those we have degraded.

Feb 6 is the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation: International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation is a United Nations-sponsored annual awareness day that takes place on February 6 as part of the UN's efforts to eradicate female genital mutilation. It was first introduced in 2003.

Feb 11 is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science: The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is the 11th day of February. The day recognizes the critical role women and girls play in science and technology.

February 14-18 is Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness Week: Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness Week (SRH Week) is a yearly campaign designed to raise awareness on sexual and reproductive health and promote resources to improve community health in Canada.

Feb 20 is World Day of Social Justice: The theme this year is A Call for Social Justice in the Digital Economy.

Feb 21 is International Mother Language Day: International Mother Language Day is a worldwide annual observance held on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and to promote multilingualism.

Feb 21-27 is Heritage Week: The theme in 2022 explores the many ways that heritage engagement requires creativity, as well as unique solutions and actions to encourage broad participation.

Feb 23 is Pink Shirt Day: Pink Shirt Day, or Anti-Bullying Day, is a day when people wear a pink shirt to symbolise a stand against bullying.
