By design, the Core Competencies are the foundation for the Big Ideas, Curricular Competencies, and Content of the curriculum of each course a student is enrolled in.  This ensures that students are always mindful of their growth in the Core Competencies through awareness and self-reflection, self-assessment, and evidence of growth.

Curricular Competency and Content:

Students will engage in Core Competency Self-Reflection and Goal Setting three times a year. All VSB Secondary students will complete their Core Competencies self-assessments in the SpacesEDU platform.
