Q. How do I request an off-site exam accommodation?
Contact your teacher as soon as possible and explain your situation. Requests need to be made well in advance of the exam date.

Q. What happens after my request is approved?
Your teacher will provide you with a link to the Off-Site Invigilator Form. You must:
• Find a suitable invigilator (e.g., teacher, librarian, or other approved professional)
• Have the invigilator complete and submit the form before the exam date

Q. Who can be an invigilator?
An invigilator must be a responsible adult in a professional setting, such as a school teacher, librarian, or administrator. To avoid conflict of interest issues, family members, friends, or past or current tutors of the student are not permitted.

Q. How will the exam be sent to the invigilator?
Once the invigilator is verified, the Course Teacher will securely send the exam materials and instructions directly to them.

Q. What if my request is denied?
If your request does not meet the accommodation criteria, you will need to write the exam in person at the VLN site. Your teacher will work with you to schedule a suitable time.
