Elementary Students
Vancouver Learning Network (VLN) offers a rich and engaging full-time online learning program to students in kindergarten to Grade 7. Before enrolling at VLN, the student(s) and their parent/guardian must meet with a VSB teacher to design a student learning plan.
Teachers are responsible for leading the educational program with support from parents/guardians, who are the home facilitators. Formal reports are written three times per school year, just as brick-and-mortar schools, and feedback is given regularly. Students maintain contact with their teacher through weekly online class meetings, calls, email or by visiting the VLN main office.
