My Education BC - Summer access

MyEd BC Student Family Accounts

Accounts will be suspended by July 31. Should you foresee the need to access your published report card during the summer, we suggest that you print a hardcopy or save a digital copy to a medium that you will be able to access. Returning students’ accounts will be reactivated on the first day of school and will be accessible by their last successful login ID and password. 

BC Services Card

Though parents/students can choose to connect their BC Services Card to MyEducation BC account on their own, our district is warning parents/students who have MyEducation BC Family portal access DO NOT connect their BC Services Card to the MyEducation BC account because:

    • The MyEducation BC Log in credential to the family portal is shared between parent and student in our district.  If the parent connects their BC Services Card to the MyEducation BC account, the student lost their access to the family portal or vice versa.
    • When their MyEducation BC account is connected to their BC Services Card, they will NO LONGER be able to log in to MyEducation BC using their username and password.  The BC Services Card account support will be directed to the BC Services Card Tier 1 Help Desk. District and School support staff can no longer support their security issue when they need account unlock or password reset.
