🏒 Celebrating Vancouver’s Newest Sports Team

This Friday marked the first game of Vancouver’s newest sports franchise—the Goldeneyes of the Professional Women’s Hockey League! In front of a sell-out crowd of 15,000 at the PNE Coliseum, the home team secured an exciting win thanks to goals by Sarah Nurse, Gabby Rosenthal, Claire Thompson, and Abby Boreen.
We’re proud to live in a city that supports so many incredible sports teams. Congratulations, Goldeneyes!

🎶 Winter Concert Tickets – Available Monday, November 24

From Ms. Fong, our music teacher:

• Hot Chocolate Orders: Available on SchoolCashOnline while quantities last. Pick up on concert night; remaining orders delivered Dec. 19.
• Concert Details:
  • Doors open: 5:45 PM
  • Celebration Choir: 6:10 PM
  • Jungle All the Way: 6:30 PM
• Attire Guidelines:
  • Div. 1–8: Green, brown, or dark colors
  • Div. 9–10: Same + winter hat & scarf
  • Div. 11–13: Same + jungle animal ears/simple face paint (e.g. whiskers, noses) encouraged
  • Div. 14–18: Brown clothing if possible
• Ticket Requests:
  • Start Monday, Nov. 24 at 8:00 AM
  • Limit: 2 tickets per family; extras after Nov. 26 if available
  • Bring forms directly to the office

🥫 Student Council Winter Food Drive

Thank you for supporting the Marpole Food Hub Drive! We collected 751 items—amazing generosity!

• Division 13 wins a class party for most items.
• Divisions 10 and 6 were close runners-up.
  Thank you all for making a difference!

🌱 Grounds Clean-Up

This week: Division 3. Thank you for helping keep our school welcoming and caring for our environment!
