New episode of VSB After The Bell: All things kindergarten

| Categories: Programs
Episode 3

Starting kindergarten is a huge milestone, for both families and their children. Every year on the first of November marks the start of priority kindergarten registration for the VSB. And this year, any child born in 2018 is eligible to register. We know kindergarten enrolment is a hot topic in Vancouver, so for this month’s podcast, and matter of the month, we are doing a deep dive into kindergarten registration and enrolment.

David Nelson, deputy superintendent and Michael Rossi, acting director of instruction join us on the podcast to talk about all things kindergarten. David and Michael were both previously teachers and held administrator positions in the District. They are now part of the District’s leadership team who work behind the scenes and play an integral part in kindergarten registration and enrolment process.

In our latest episode, we answer questions about the kindergarten registration process, talk about the different programs available, provide tips on preparing for kindergarten and answer questions submitted via our social media channels.
