Grenfell Elementary

Project Update
The Grenfell Elementary seismic upgrade project is now complete, providing a safer, more accessible, and enhanced learning environment for students and staff. The project included seismic upgrades to Blocks 1, 2, and 3, as well as the removal, reinstallation, or replacement of architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems required to support the work. Block 4 was removed as part of the project, while Block 5 did not require seismic upgrading.
The school is now fully accessible with the addition of an elevator & chairlift, improving access for all members of the school community. Students and staff will also benefit from a new outdoor learning area and nature park, creating additional opportunities for outdoor education, play, and connection to the natural environment. The school is ready to welcome students and staff for the 2026-2027 school year.
