Henderson Annex and Laurier Annex
The VSB formally closed Henderson Annex and Sir Wilfred Laurier Annex at a board meeting on April 24, 2017, in accordance with the School Act.
Background
The decision followed a closure process that began in April, 2016, when Henderson Annex had no enrolled students. The Vancouver School Board has leased the Henderson Annex school building to the Conseil Scolarie Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique.
The Vancouver Board of Education has leased Laurier Annex to the Conseil Scolaire Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique (CSF) for 5.5 years effective January 1, 2018.
