Board of Education
The Vancouver Board of Education is comprised of nine elected trustees and a student trustee. Trustees are elected every four years at the same time as the mayor and city council for City of Vancouver.
Trustees are members of a corporate board responsible for the improvement of student achievement in the school district.
The board's work is divided among standing committees to facilitate comprehensive discussion of school district matters. You’re invited to attend public board meetings, which are held regularly.
Public Delegation Board Meetings are intended to provide members of the community with the opportunity to present to the Board on matters relating to governance and/or budget.
