Description

The Seismic Mitigation Program project at Dr. George M Weir has been completed. The project consisted of a partial replacement of the school building. The majority of the school was rebuilt during this project.

Information

Construction began in January, 2021. Temporary accommodation occurred as a combined effort between 3 host locations, MacCorkindale Elementary School, Champlain Heights Community Elementary School, and Killarney Secondary School (Grade 6 and 7 students only).
