Maintaining your device

  • Install software updates as they become available each month. These include important security and performance fixes for your device.
  • Upgrade to new macOS versions as they become available each year. Do not let your device fall behind as Apple security updates and Microsoft compatibility are not available for older versions.
  • Keep your device active and online regularly. If offline for 30 days, the device will become non-compliant and MFA prompts will increase. If offline for 9 months, the device will be suspended and require service from LIT Department.
  • Contact VSB Service Desk if you experience issues with your device.
