The finance committee held its first meeting under the 2022-2026 Board’s term on the evening of Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Member trustees, Alfred Chien, Janet Fraser and Suzie Mah joined committee chair, Joshua Zhang for the meeting along with representatives of the District’s formal stakeholder groups. 

The committee advanced two matters to the Board for consideration: the budget development timeline and process as well as the Statement of Financial Information for the 2021-2022 year. 

The committee also heard information updates about the quarter one financial statement as well as the administration of government funding under the Student and Family Affordability Fund. 

The next finance committee meeting will be held on Wednesday January 18, 2023.
