Mackenzie Elves Craft Toys for Little Mountain Neighborhood House

For the past eight years, Mackenzie Elementary teacher Todd Millway's Grade 7 class has been transformed into a wooden toy workshop. This year, each student in Millway's Grade 7 class of 28 made a hand-crafted wooden toy to donate to Little Mountain Neighbourhood House. The toys are part of Christmas hampers distributed to needy families during the holidays.

"I think that the students are proud of the work that they have done and the support they provide to their community," said Millway. "They have put in many hours of work in order to produce a quality toy."

Mackenzie also participates in a food drive coordinated by Charles Tupper Secondary.
