On Friday, February 21, Vancouver School Board teachers and administrators participated in a professional development day in support of the implementation of the districts Aboriginal Education Enhancement Agreement.

National Chief Shawn Atleo, Chairperson Patti Bacchus and Minister Peter Fassbender attended the event and Chief Atleo provided a stirring address to VSB staff. The ProD was opened with a greeting from Musqueam elder Shane Pointe, and followed by inspiring speeches from Chief Atleo, Superintendent of Aboriginal Achievement Dede Derose and Musqueam Elder Shane Pointe.
