Public meetings and reports
The Vancouver Board of Education is comprised of nine elected trustees and a student trustee. The Board regularly meets to make decisions about the school system and policy development that directs what happens at schools and in the classroom. Meeting time and dates can be found on the District’s calendar.
Meeting agendas are published on the District’s website the Friday before a meeting takes place (for e.g. A Board meeting on January 17 would publish the agenda on January 14). The meeting are live-streamed and recorded on the District’s YouTube channel. As well, on the following day a meeting summary is published on the District’s website. Meeting minutes are approved at the next Board meeting and published shortly after, under meeting agendas and minutes.
