Summer is around the corner and it certainly felt like it had arrived at the annual Splash 'n Dash at Britannia Elementary.

Grades K-5 from Britannia and Strathcona Elementary Schools took part in a mini triathlon-style race. Each grade started by swimming in the Britannia Community Pool (pool-noodle use was encouraged), then racing over to Britannia Secondary and running laps around the track field.

The hard work of the schools' parents and teachers, and support via Exceleration Tri-Club, Triathlon BC, and More Sports made the day a huge success. All students left at the end of the day with a commemorative Splash 'n Dash medal and (more importantly) a smile on their face.
